Former Clones hotelier described as a 'true lady'

The late Margaret McCarville has been described by those who knew her as a "true lady" who always had a "kind word for everyone."

Tributes have been paid to former Clones hotelier Margaret McCarville (nee Mc Caughey).

Mrs McCarville is the former owner of the Creighton Hotel alongside her late husband Leo before it was taken on by their son Patrick.

The former hotelier passed away peacefully at home in Clones and surrounded by her loving family on Friday, 30th January.

The late Margaret McCarville has been described by those who knew her as a "true lady" who always had a "kind word for everyone."

Mrs McCarville's funeral mass took place yesterday at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones.

As a mark of respect, the Creighton Hotel was closed yesterday.
