Foul played ruled out after woman found dead in Cavan

Foul play has been ruled out in relation to the discovery of a body of a woman in Cavan Town.

Gardaí were alerted to the scene on Connolly Street shortly after 2 o clock on Tuesday morning.

Gardaí said at the time the results of a post-mortem exam will assist in determining the course of their investigation.

Following the post-mortem, foul play has been ruled out and a file is now being prepared for the Coroner.
