Four vehicles have been seized in Monaghan following a major operation by Gardaí. The AGS Christmas campaign started yesterday, with checkpoints carried out across Monaghan.
A number of drivers were stopped and their vehicles seized for various offences. These included three unaccompanied learners and one learner without insurance. Two drivers were also noted for having no driving license or insurance.
Multiple fixed penalty notices were also issued in the Carrickmacross district for no tax, no NCT, and not wearing a seatbelt.
