The funeral mass of well-known Monaghan country music star Henry McMahon will take place later this morning.
Henry was an integral part of the country music scene for up on six decades and became known to thousands of music followers as the band leader and announcer with Big Tom and The Mainliners.
His funeral cortege will proceed on foot from the Big Tom Statue, Castleblayney, today at 11.30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church in Castleblayney for funeral mass at 12 noon.
