The young man who lost his life following a workplace incident in Kingscourt will be laid to rest today.
25 year old Jack Mcllroy from Nobber died from injuries sustained at a premises Wednesday morning on the Carrickmacross Rd in the town.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he was later pronounced dead.

The Health and Safety Authority has been notified of the fatal incident and an investigation has been launched.
Tributes have been paid to the young man who was secretary of the Electro Celtic soccer club.
The funeral mass for Jack will take place today at 11:15am at St. John the Baptist's Church.

Jack will be laid to rest afterwards in the local cemetery.
