Gardai in Co Cavan are appealing for information following two separate incidents which occurred in the Gallon area of Killinkere.
Gardai are investigating a burglary which took place at a home between the hours of 2pm on the 20th May and 7:45am on the 21st May.
The homeowner returned to find three windows broken and a rear door forced open.
The house was ransacked and a quantity of cash and some power tools were taken.
Gardai would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity to contact them.
Elsewhere are investigating an incident of criminal damage which occurred on the 28th of May at a home once again in Gallon, Kilinkere.
The homeowner returned home shortly after 4pm to discover four front widows smashed.
Gardai are anxious to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious persons or vehicles in the Gallon area of Killinkere during those times.
