Clones Gardaí are reminding motorists that a number of road closures will be in place in the town this Friday.
This is to facilitate the town’s annual Halloween Parade, taking place from 7pm to 9.30pm.
The event, organised by Clones Chamber of Commerce, continues to grow each year, and Gardaí are advising road users to take note of road closures.
The roads closed to traffic during the parade are, Churchill / Lower Fermanagh Street at the Roslea Road junction, Fermanagh Street Newtownbutler Road at the Creighton Hotel and 98 Avenue at the SuperValu car park (SuperValu car park will remain open).
Gardaí are also highlighting that there will be no vehicular traffic in any direction at the Creighton Corner junction.
Roads will reopen once the parade concludes and it is safe to do so, with diversions in place until then.
Gardaí are reminding people to be safe and be seen.
