Gardaí in Co. Monaghan have received reports about stolen parts from articulated tractors in north Co. Monaghan.
In a statement to Northern Sound, Gardaí outlined incidents that occurred between the 19th, and 20th of May.
Gardaí received a report that parts were stolen from three Scania articulated tractor units in Clontibret, Co Monaghan.
It is understood by Gardaí that the incident occurred sometime between 5:00pm on 19th May 2026 and 4:30am the next day.
A spokesperson for Gardaí told Northern Sound that investigations are ongoing
The statement from an Garda Síochána also outlined that Gardaí are investigating the theft of parts from a Volvo articulated tractor unit.
This theft occurred sometime between 10:00pm on 20th May 2026 and 7:00am the following day at Lisdrungormal, Co Monaghan.
According to the Garda spokesperson, investigations are ongoing.
