Gardai in Monaghan are investigating two burglaries which occurred on Friday the 19th of May.
In a statement issued to Northern Sound, a house was broken into at 9:55am in the Silverstream area.
A similar incident occurred shortly afterwards at Carrickaderry, Clontibret.

It is believed a silver VW Golf may have been involved.
Gardai are asking anyone who was either in the area and noticed anything suspicious or who can assist in any way to please contact Monaghan Gardai on 047 77240.
