The go-ahead has been given for multi-million euro plans to construct over 30 new homes in Cavan town.
Woodfort Developments Ltd lodged plans last September with a view to building 32 houses at Station Lane, Swellan Lower, Cavan with exactly half of them being four bedroom homes.
The remaining 16 consist of 12 x three bedroom houses and 4 x two bedroom residences.
A natura impact assessment was also included.
In a planning statement, Woodfort said the development entailed a "portion of an unfinished site" with the plans also detailing designs for proposed access via a road that services the existing Station Lane development.
Cavan County Council approved the plans subject to 33 conditions.
Among those were that Woodfort Developments Ltd to hand over in excess of €220,000 before any construction work gets underway.
