Planning permission has been granted for a new housing development in Monaghan.
SJR Developments applied to Monaghan County Council to convert an existing vacant apartment block in Carrickmacross.
The block at Ascaill Rois would be converted into 2 semi-detached three bed houses.
Also included in the application is the demolition of an existing steel and concrete structure in the rear garden.
Planning permission was granted with 6 conditions attached.
