Over 220 groups, individuals and schools across Co Monaghan applied for the Hare's Corner Project.
Co Monaghan had the third highest application rate nationally after the project was successfully launched back in January,
The applications will now be evaluated by the Burren Beo Trust and successful applicants will be notified of which actions they may have been approved for.
Funding of 62,320 for this project will be provided through the Local Biodiversity Action Fund and MCC, along with some private funding.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Peter Conlon had high praise for the project, describing it as a "roaring success" in Co Monaghan.
He said this is "fantastic initiative" from the Government and the local authorities Heritage Officer, which greatly promotes bio-diversity.
