The Health and Safety Authority is investigating the circumstances behind a workplace accident in Co Cavan.
A man aged in his 50s was injured at a business premises on the Bailieborough Road in Virginia.
The man was removed to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of his injuries and the Health and Safety Authority have been notified.

The incident occurred on Friday with the Health and Safety Authority saying they were aware of the incident and is making the appropriate enquiries.
