The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation after a man has died following a workplace accident in Co Cavan.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a workplace accident at a premises in Kingscourt just before midday yesterday afternoon.
A man, aged in his 20s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he was later pronounced dead.

The Health and Safety Authority has been notified of the fatal incident and an investigation has been launched.
A file will be prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
