A young woman that has lived in Carrickmacross for 20 years says people in the town feel like they are not being heard.
The 25 year old came from Lithuania at the age of five and says the town has always been welcoming to people coming from other countries.
The young Lithuanian woman, who asked to remain anonymous says the lack of resources in the town and lack of integration is causing problem in the town. She believes the issue is with the immigration system and what she says is flaws within the system in the country, adding that she blames the government for this.
The Carrickmacross resident says there has been a rise in anti-social behaviour and she feels unsafe walking alone on the streets of the town.
