Increase in funding for Meals on Wheels

There's going to be an increase of 2 million euro in funding for Meals on Wheels.

319 organisations across the country are set to benefit from the money, which is a rise of over 30 per cent on last year.

The Tanaiste Simon Harris and Junior Minister for Older People Kieran O'Donnell have made the announcement in the allocation for 2026.

It aims to deliver over 3.3 million Meals on Wheels to older people, particularly in rural areas.
