The importance of local carers knowing what's available to them is being highlighted this month. Information days on one-to-one Family Carers Support are set to be held in
West Cavan through the month of November. The one-to-one service for carers will include confidential appointments for advice, guidance and information on how to access services and support for those caring for a family member or relative.
Upcoming information days are to be held in Belturbet on November 21st and Corlough on November 25th. Sandy Holland from Cavan County Local Development says often carers are not aware of the supports that they can access:
