Gardaí are investigating a serious assault which took place in Roosky in Monaghan Town on Friday the 21st of February.
A man, aged in his 30s, was assaulted at St Peter’s Lake at some time between midnight and 12:40am.
He was brought by ambulance to Craigavon Area Hospital and treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Gardai say at this time investigations are ongoing.
