Investigation launched following Ballyconnell workplace incident

Units of the local fire service along with Gardai and paramedics were on the scene following the incident that occurred some time after 5.30pm yesterday evening.

It’s believed the man is in his 20s and from the local area of Ballyconnell.

Gardai confirmed to Shannonside Northern Sound that local members were in attendance stating that a man (20s) was brought to hospital for treatment.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
