Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to two burglaries which took place in Killeshandra area. The crimes both took place on the 14th of August. The first burglary occurred between 8am and 2pm in the townland of Portaliff. The homeowner returned to find entry had been gained to his property and a small sum of money and a new pair of Asics runners were stolen.
The second burglary occurred between 1am and 8.30pm on the 14th of August in the townland of Aghavadrin, Killeshadra. The intruders prised open a rear window to gain entry. A three stone engagement ring, a sovereign on a chain and a blue stone ring were stolen. Garda Lisa Stevens is appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
