Gardaí say they received a report of an incident involving a firework outside a home in Shercock in recent days.
The incident occurred sometime between 10:30pm and 11:15pm on Sunday the 7th of September.
A teenager received non-life-threatening injuries from the firework exploding. Gardai say their investigations are ongoing.
