Nearly 6,000- buildings have been destroyed and 8,000 people killed following a devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. International rescue teams are in place and say they are still hopeful of finding survivors in the rubble.
But temperatures are expected to fall to minus 5 degrees Celsius, prompting concerns about those who are still trapped. This woman in the city of Osmaniye doesn't think enough is being done. "Yesterday the Governor came here but he does nothing; there are young children in these buildings but they do nothing," she added.
Meanwhile, the death toll is expected to rise in the coming days. The Irish Red Cross is appealing for donations, its General Secretary Deirdre Garvey says urgent supplies are needed on the ground. "We can help with hot food, clean water, drinking water emergency shelter.
"And what the Red Cross is doing locally is providing psycho-social support, transport for medical care, and first aid. That is what we are doing on the ground now and that is what we will be able to do more of," Ms Garvey added.
