Cavan-based building materials firm Kingspan is among the firms being recognised for helping to increase the value of Ireland-Asia trade to over €120billion.
The company was recently honoured at the Asia Matters Business Awards 2023 in Dublin.
The awards recognise two-way trade - world-class Irish companies achieving strategic success in Asia and Asian companies making a unique contribution to Ireland.
Kingspan's award recognises its €40million investment in a 16,000 sqm greenfield site in Phu My, Vietnam, its first Asian hub, which will be fully operational in Q1 2024.
The manufacturing facility will produce high-performance insulated panels and employ 60 people.
It is also aiming for net zero carbon emissions during operation as part of its Planet Passionate global sustainability programme.
