Kingspan is on this year's list of the EPA's national priority sites. The Environmental Protection Agency draws up a list of companies which inspectors identify as problem sites for various environmental breaches. EPA's latest report was published today and lists 10 companies which has incurred increased attention from the agency.
Senior Inspector Mick Henry told the Joe Finnegan Show earlier they are monitoring the sites for "mainly water pollution issues". Their latest report says the issues at Kingspan Building Products Ltd., Cavan are related to emissions to air and facility management.
Mr Henry said when Kingspan make certain changes and attain the correct licence it is hoped the Cavan company's site will be removed from the EPA's priority list (listen below):
