Lakeland Dairies has been granted planning permission by Cavan County Council to upgrade its facility in Killeshandra.
The co-op will partially demolish the existing store, make alterations to the existing building, and construct new single storey staff welfare facilities and ancillary accommodation.
A single storey extension that will incorporate the maintenance area to existing the building and a further extension incorporating the lab and associated facilities is also included in the plan.

Meanwhile, a Natura Impact Statement will be submitted to the planning authority in respect of the application, shortly.
