Lakeland Dairies have sought planning permission for a single storey extension to its Killeshandra location.
The plans submitted earlier this week to Cavan County Council are for a containing storage, packaging, and dispatch area with a link corridor to the existing production/warehouse building. A single storey unloading dock extension to the existing production warehouse is also included in the application. The relocation of a transformer, the erection of a 15 meter high silo, and all associated ancillary site works. The site currently operates under EPA License and a Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application
County planners will decide on the application by the end of February.
