A local TD says more government investment is needed in mental health services.
Cavan-Monaghan TD Matt Carthy spoke to Northern Sound after attending this morning's Darkness into Light walk in Carrickmacross, where close to 1,000 people gathered to support Pieta.
197 locations in Ireland and abroad were held in support of the suicide prevention charity, including ten gatherings throughout the Shannonside Northern Sound region.
