Met Eireann is being accused of over issuing warnings for normal winter weather by issuing continuous weather warnings.
That's according to Cllr Shane P O'Reilly who says the national forecaster is scaring people with these warnings.
The local councillor believes there is a narrative coming from Met Eireann in relation to climate change.

Cllr O'Reilly says people can surely make a conscious decision when it comes to normal winter weather. He feels the warning are fueling scare mongering and it's unfair on the most vulnerable in society.
