The Minister for Social Protection, Heather Humphreys TD, has launched the Intreo Work and Skills events, which are taking place from the 6th to the 19th of October across the country.
Over 35 events are taking place around the country, with a huge range of opportunities on offer.
Locally, a networking event for female entrepreneurs will take place in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan on October 19th.
Elsewhere, a Jobseekers event will be presented at the Íontas Centre, Castleblayney, on October 17th.
In a statement issued to Shannonside Northern Sound, Minister Humphreys sai that the work and skills events are an "important support" in bringing employers together with people who are actively seeking job opportunities, as well as highlighting the range of training options currently available.
She added that those visiting an event will have an opportunity to meet directly with employers and learn more about the roles on offer across many sectors.
