Cavan County Council is urging households to check their details as part of a national effort to update the Electoral Register ahead of National Voter Registration Day.
Letters are currently being issued, with new requirements meaning voters must have their PPS number, date of birth, and Eircode registered.
The local authority says the move is aimed at ensuring the register remains accurate and up to date.
With National Voter Registration Day taking place on April 30th, people across Cavan are being encouraged to review their information.
Residents can visit checktheregister.ie to confirm or update their details and ensure they can take part in future elections.
