A local senator has paid tribute to the wonderful work that the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust has done since it's inception in 2013.
Senator Robbie Gallagher said the remarkable organisation set up by back by Colin and Eithne Bell has helped more than 2,500 families repatriate their loved ones who have passed away abroad.
It was established in 2013 after the tragic passing of Kevin Bell in New York in tragic circumstances.
From that experience they realised the cost and logistics of bringing Kevin's body home, they have been assisting grieving loved ones ever since.
Senator Gallagher says he has learnt that both Colin and Eithne are to step back from the day-to-day running of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
He said they still will be involved in the organisation adding they have left an amazing legacy in their wake:
