A local Sinn Féin senator says the government has 'completely misread' the situation amid the ongoing fuel protests.
It comes as Sinn Féin announced this lunchtime it will be tabling a motion of no confidence in the government/
Party leader Mary Lou McDonald says "the actions of Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and Independents have been disastrous" and claims "they have lost confidence of the public".
