Locals are encouraged to have their say on the Carrickmacross Local Transport Plan.
Residents are urged to drop in and share their views at a public consultation event which will take place today at the civic offices from 4pm to 7pm.
The purpose of the Plan is to set out a long-term vision and a coordinated package of transport measures that will improve how people move in and around the town.

The plan will consider all modes of travel, walking, cycling, public transport, and road traffic, and will place a strong emphasis on creating safer, healthier, more accessible streets for everyone.
