An appeal has been issued following the theft of a collie dog that was stolen in Kingscourt.
A dark grey Toyota Landcruiser was also stolen and the large brown and white dog inside the jeep at the time.
The jeep was stolen from the old Super Valu car park in the town centre of Kingscourt.
It’s understood the jeep may have been seen leaving Kingscourt via the Nobber Road.
The jeep was stolen at around 1pm yesterday while the owner was attending the livestock mart in the town.
The owners say they want to get home their beloved dog Rusty who may have been dumped in the vicinity of Kingscourt.
They are asking people to keep an eye out in all neighbouring communities.
