Low temperature warning issued for Cavan/Monaghan

A status yellow low temperature warning has been issued for counties Cavan and Monaghan. According to Met Éireann, sharp to severe frost is expected. The alert affects Munster, Ulster, Connacht and west Leinster, and begins at 8pm. Met Éireann says minimum temperatures will be around minus 3 degrees or lower. The warning expires at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning.
