Luas services are expected to remain suspended in Dublin’s docklands following a huge fire last night.
The blaze broke out at George’s Dock just as people were leaving work in the IFSC.
It’s believed the blaze started in service ducts under the bridge although it’s not known how at this point.
Workers described how power went off in numerous buildings and people gathered outside
Four fire engines, a foam tender and a water tanker tackled the blaze -while water from the Liffey was used at one point.
It took numerous hours to put the fire out and the area is still being dampened this morning.
The scene remains sealed off and the Luas isn’t running between Connolly and the Point as a result.
