A man in his 40s has been arrested following a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Emyvale.
Gardaí attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the N2 at Cornacreeve, Monaghan, shortly before 11:10pm on 6th January 2026.
A male, aged in his 40s, was subsequently arrested under Road Traffic Acts, charged and bailed to appear before Monaghan District Court next week.

A spokesperson for the Gardaí told Northern Sound that no injuries were reported at the time.
