Gardaí in Co Monaghan have arrested a man and recovered a imitation firearm in Monaghan town.
The incident occurred on Friday, December 12th at 4.30p.m.
The man, aged in his 20s, was released without charge.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána told Northern Sound that a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The spokesperson said that enquiries are ongoing.
