Gardaí and Emergency Services are attending the scene of a road traffic collision on the R181 in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan this morning.
The collision occurred at 6.30am.
A man in his 20s was seriously injured and taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, for treatment.

The road remains closed and local diversions are in place.
Investigations are ongoing.
