A man in his 30s has been arrested and questioned in connection to a serious assault at Cavan General Hospital.
The alleged incident took place during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Gardaí say they received a report of a serious assault at Cavan General Hospital at around 1am on Wednesday the 18th of December. Local Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
