Met Eireann issues yellow rain warning for this region

Met Eireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for this region.

A rain warning for all of Connacht, Cavan, Donegal and Longford.

Showers and winds will ease through the afternoon with good dry spells developing.

However tonight will become more wet and rainy.

Please be careful on the road as heavy rain and localised flooding is expected.

Highest afternoon temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.

A wind warning  is also for Galway , Fermanagh, Antrim and Donegal.

Both warnings come into effect from ten o'clock tonight.
