Monaghan Fire and Civil Protection attended 27 emergency calls during February 2026.
That’s according to figures released by Monaghan County Council this week.

Calls attended during this period were “dominated” by domestic house fires, chimney fires, road traffic collisions, and monitoring alarms calls.
The council has indicated that operational training continues within MFCP, with all stations following the Operational Core Activities programme.
This ensures consistent development of skills, such as aerial platform training, and emergency services driving standards.
