An increase in the minimum wage is among the measures being considered, which would bring it up by at least 55 cent per hour.

A Cavan-based journalist says the government must prioritise minimum wage workers in the upcoming Budget.
An increase in the minimum wage is among the measures being considered, which would bring it up by at least 55 cent per hour.
It would set the minimum wage above €14, from the current rate of €13.50.

A range of targeted measures are set to be announced on Budget Day , October 7th, with an overall investment package of approximately €9.4 billion.
