A Co Monaghan councillor says he is "disappointed" with the lack of support given to small businesses.
He says small businesses have provided services to towns and villages for generations, however they're costs are going up, particularly when it comes to rates.
Rates in Co Monaghan have increased by a total of 3%.
Cllr PJ O'Hanlon is calling on the Goverment to re-introduce the Increased Cost of Business grant:
