Monaghan County Council has issued a reminder about the importance of defibrillators safety.
The council stated that recently the defibrillators at the Patrick Kavanagh Centre, Inniskeen, and the Carrickmacross Civic Office were used and returned without pads.
It is urging everyone to notify Monaghan County Council if a defibrillator is used so it can be immediately restocked.
Anyone using the units can follow the instructions provided on the device to ensure they remain ready for use in emergencies.
