The price of the average second-hand three-bed semi in county Monaghan has risen by 2 per cent in the last three months.
That's according to a national survey by Real Estate Alliance.
Across the county, the average three bed semi-detached is selling at €245,000, with time taken to reach sale agreed at four weeks, the REA Average House Price Index shows.
Dermot Conlon of REA Gunne Property, Carrickmacross says the market was quiet during the holiday period, but it is steady at the moment.

The REA Average House Price Index concentrates on the sale price of Ireland's typical stock home, the three-bed semi, giving an accurate picture of the second-hand property market in towns and cities countrywide.
Homes in the country's large towns continue to show growth nationwide, 2.2 per cent this quarter and 10.7 per cent on last September to an average of €269,199.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Dermot says progression in Monaghan has been "steady" which is "positive".
