A Co. Monaghan man said outlined his devotion to St. Carlo Acutis.
The relics of St. Carlo Acutis were brought to the west of Ireland earlier this year.
St. Carlo Acutis was only 15 when he died, and is the first saint to be canonised in this millennium.
There are hopes that his story will appeal to young people.
Francis Meehan, from Ardaghy in Co. Monaghan said that the saint has helped him with depression.
He has visited Carlo Accutis' tomb twice, and said that it would take your breath away.
Speaking on this morning's Joe Finnegan show, Francis explained how the saint has helped him.
He said: "He would have helped me. I suffer from depression, and when I went to his tomb for the first four years ago, I got a tour.
"I had a very big experience, the tears ran down my face, my friends with me were taken aback. I could feel the heat coming into my body.
"I still have to watch myself, I still get depression, but not as bad, so I'm very thankful to Carlo for that," he added.
