A Co Monaghan nursing home was deemed compliant or substantially compliant in all areas during an unannounced HIQA inspection.
Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home on the Cootehill Road in Monaghan was inspected on the 15th of September, 2021.
It provides long-term and respite care for older residents, and residents with acquired brain injury, dementia and palliative care needs.

Residents said they received a good standard of care, and this was confirmed by their relatives.
The centre was "substantially compliant" in five areas, and these were risk-rated "yellow", which signifies a low risk.
A compliance plan has brought four of these ratings to "compliant" and the centre was compliant in the fifth by year-end.
