A Monaghan Senator says that the new National Residential Retrofit Plan 2026 will make home energy upgrades more affordable and accessible.
The new measures will see many more households benefit from homes that are warmer and cheaper to heat.
Robbie Gallagher said that promoting retrofitting, renewable heating, and solar energy, homes will be warmer and cheaper to heat.
Among the measures from the second of March, a new grant will be introduced for the installation of energy-efficient windows and doors.
Senator Gallagher encouraged people to visit the SEAI website to see a full list of options and what they might qualify for.
Speaking to Northern Sound, he welcomed the new support options.
