Monaghan health technology company Avail Support has been sold.
Software developed by the company helps people with autism and other disabilities and is used in schools and workplaces.
Lisa Marie Clinton set up Avail Support in 2015, with the launch of the software in 2017. It's been announced today that it has now been acquired by US software company CentralReach.
Avail uses the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis to help people with disabilities learn new skills.
It won the Best Start Up in Monaghan at the Best Young Entrepreneur awards and won a regional award in the national competition.
Its main market has been in the United States and says it has seen 600 per cent growth in the last eight months.
